Saša Begović graduated at the University of Zagreb – Faculty of Architecture, in the class of prof. Ivan Crnkovic. In 1994 he founded the architectural studio 3LHD with partners Mark Dabrovic, Tanja Grozdanic and Silvije Novak. 3LHD is an interdisciplinary architectural office in Zagreb directed the integration of different disciplines, architecture, urban and landscape design and art. 3LHD architects constantly explore new possibilities of interaction and integration of architecture, society and the individual. Studio has access to modern architecture, and resolve any issue through cooperation, knowledge and experience of 30 permanent employees and cooperation with numerous experts from other professions. Projects such as the Veterans Bridge in Rijeka-Croatia, the Croatian Pavilion at the World Exhibition EXPO in Japan in 2005, studies Bale/Valle, Split waterfront, Bale halls, Skyscraper 123, Hotel Lone in Rovinj and Project of Eastern Europe Cultural Center in Xi’an in China are affirmation of the Studio, not only in professional circles but also in a wider range of public, domestic and foreign. 3LHD for his work received a number of important domestic and several international awards and prizes, among others, the award for best sports structure in the World Festival of Architecture 2008, AR + D Award, the prestigious award given by one of the most important world architectural journal The Architectural Review (UK) , ID Magazine Award (USA) and the Croatian vocational awards Drago Galic (2008), Bernando Bernardi (2005), Viktor Kovacic (2001), Nazor and Vladimir (1999).
