Dr. Aleksandra Krstić-Furundžić, Ing.- Arch., is Full Professor at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Architecture, Serbia. Several times was the head of the Department of Architectural Technology. Professional experience as an educator, architectural design practitioner, researcher, and editor. She was a visiting professor at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Banja Luka, BiH. She participated as a trainer in several Training Schools within the COST Action TU1205, dedicated to the design of solar thermal collectors. Expert domains: Architectural constructions, Innovative façade and roof technologies, Energy efficient buildings, Passive and active solar systems, Industrialized construction, Building refurbishment technologies. Co-Founder and Technical Director of International Scientific Conference on Places and Technologies. She participates in the National Energy Efficiency Program and in international projects within European Cooperation in the field of Scientific and Technical Research, COST Actions: TU1403 – Adaptive Facades Network, TU1205 – Building Integrated Solar Thermal Systems, TU1104 – Smart Energy Regions, TU0701 – Improving the Quality of Suburban Building Stocks, and others. Member of the Editorial Board of two international journals, and several professional associations. Author of several books, and a significant number of chapters in international and national monographs and scientific papers.
